Are you constantly on the move and need quick access to information?
Wherever you are, information about your account is available 24/7, right on your cell phone's screen, as SMS messages.
 
What does SmartTel provide?
 
Wherever you are, in Orange, Vodafone, Cosmote or Zapp coverage area, you can execute the following operations from the menu of your cell phone:
 
By calling 1881 (for Vodafone, Orange, Cosmote and Zapp customers) you will receive information regarding all the accounts you selected in the SmartTel contract:
  • Account information (current account, loan or deposit). You can select the account or accounts for which you want information.
  • Last 5 transactions executed in a specific account (debit and credit transactions).
  • Last 5 credit transactions executed in a specific account.
  • Last 5 debit transactions executed in a specific account.
  • Bank/NBR exchange rate for that day. You can also request the exchange rate for a previous date going back up to a year from the date of the exchange rate information request.
  • Password (PIN) change.
  • Loan payments interrogation (can only be used for credit accounts).
Using Zapp browsing, Vodafone or Orange WAP (only for clients that have cell phones on Zapp, Vodafone or Orange network that support Internet browsing) a variety of information on accounts and transactions can be obtained.
- Orange clients can access the SmartTel WAP page by selecting the Orange WAP menu, and then the "Bazar" submenu.
- Vodafone clients can access the SmartTel WAP page by going to http://wap.smarttel.ro
- Zapp clients can access the SmartTel page by selecting "FAVORITES", and the address is smarttel.zappmobile.ro.
 
Information obtained using browsing can be:
  • General information:
    • Raiffeisen Bank products and services (card information, interest rates and currency exchange rates - both for that day and past dates);
    • ATM network;
    • Raiffeisen Bank unit network;
    • contact information.
  • Personalized information: access is restricted using a username (phone number)/password combination:
    • balance information;
    • last 5 transaction information (all, debit or credit);
    • alert information (list, modify, add or delete);
    • change PIN.

How to Sign Up for SmartTel?

With a current account, deposit, loan or card account opened with Raiffeisen Bank and a cell phone with a subscription to one of the GSM/CDMA operators - Orange, Vodafone or Zapp, you can sign a contract to activate the SmartTel service that provides you with the possibility of getting information and making banking transactions in real time, through your cell phone.
