How to use Western Union?

The person that is to receive/send money goes to the nearest Bank agency that provides Western Union transfer services, where they must present a valid ID (ID card for residents and passport for non residents) and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) a unique 10 digits code.
The person receiving the money must know : MTCN, name of the sender, country and city where the money was sent from, and the amount of money sent.
The receiver of a Western Union money transfer doesn’t pay any fees.
Raiffeisen Bank has launched recently a new service: Intra country and abroad Money Transfers in local currency, RON.
The commissions for Western Union transfers are standard.

What is the price for using Western Union?

The commissions for cash transfers are paid by the sender, then the money is being deposited for transfer; the beneficiaries can receive the money in USD, EUR or RON;
The receiver is charged no commissions.
Raiffeisen Bank has launched recently a new service: Intra country and abroad Money Transfers in local currency, RON.
